Located within the Ahmanson Information Commons at Leavey Library (LVL), the Digital Creative Lab is a premier space designed for multimedia content creation, high-end gaming, and professional-grade production.

Specialized Creative Spaces

Whether you are a professional creator or just getting started, the DCL offers dedicated environments for your projects:

  • Podcast Studios (2 Rooms): Professional audio recording environments equipped with multi-mic setups and high-quality recording interfaces.
  • Video Production Room: Optimized for social media and video content creators, including TikToks, Reels, and YouTube projects.
  • High-End Gaming Lab: Featuring high-performance Alienware computers designed for competitive gaming, VR, and demanding creative software.

Specialty Printing Services

The DCL is the central hub for large-scale printing on the USC campus.

  • Large-Format Plotter Printing:
    • Sizing: 10″ to 44″ wide, up to 100″ in length.
    • Paper: Universal Gloss Photo or Heavyweight Coated (Matte).
    • Pricing: $1.00–$1.30 per inch (see Printing Services for details).

How to Make a Reservation

To ensure equipment and room availability, all Digital Creative Lab spaces and large-format printing services require a prior request.

  • Reservations: Email spaces@usc.edu to book a Podcast Studio, the Video Room, or to schedule a large-format print job.
  • On-Site Support: Our student workers are available at the Leavey Library help desk to assist with equipment setup and basic technical troubleshooting.lotter Printing:

  • Eligibility: Services are available to all currently enrolled USC students.
  • Cost: Access to the Podcast Studios, Video Room, and Gaming Lab is free of charge. Large-format printing requires payment via USC Card.

The ITS Service Desk provides support to the USC community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
